Great Location Good restaurant Friendly staff great views from balcony and restaurant
Bathroom too small . Shower was terribly too small and shower head needs to be changed.
Fantastic views overlooking Loch Ness, very helpful staff and great rooms, restaurant and bar. Only 15 minute drive to Inverness.
Some rooms with a loch view had the bar terrace/benches outside your room window.
I enjoyed the peaceful location and beautiful views. The restaurant was excellent, the food delicious and the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was very nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family.
I really have no complaints about the hotel at all. I was traveling with my brother and we don't drive, so it was little awkward getting around, but the staff was very helpful in letting us know about the local bus which went into Inverness, and the lovely little town of Drumnadrochit.
This hotel is fantastic...we had a great room with an excellent view of Loch Ness and it's close to the little village of Drumnadrochit...the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful...I stayed in hotels in Normandy, London, and Edinburgh on this trip and this hotel was the best...we told them that we would definitely stay there next time too.
The only thing that could have been better would have been if the elevator/lift had the capability of going all the way to the top floor to help about carrying heavy suitcases...but that's a minor point compared to all the other great things.
Lovely views of the Loch and a lovely room
we found most things very good at the hotel......the only reservation we had was we asked for a no smoking room with a balcony which we got.... but found people were smoking on the balcony...especialy when you can be fined by the hotel..
the lift seemed to be for disabled only...
Excellent position, staff very friendly, room very clean
Bathroom/ shower room very small Left Complaints Form at receptionl
Meeting Willie & sitting at the best located table in the Restaurant
The location is good, really accessible and easy to get around to see the sights. The Cobbs resturant was really excellent, food fantastic and good value for money. Breakfast was also really lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Having the harbour opposite is great for ease of taking a lovely boat trip up to Urqhart Castle.
It can be very noisy with the main road running past if you are overlooking the loch and want to have your window open...but I suppose thats the price you pay for its good location. Also walls are very thin so can hear people in the neighbouring rooms very clearly.
Location loch ness right on the doorstep! friendly staff, great food and drink!
Woodside room dissapointing, compared to the seaview it was dull and darkly furnished which didnt help. The seaview room appeard bright modern and had a great view of loch ness which was practically on the doorstep! Wish we had booked the seaview room instead!
Breakfast and location.
Felt that on arrival because the usual reception was shut even though it was only 6.30 that the gentleman who checked us in was quite brusque and off -hand . There was also a problem with my dinner which when the waitress was informed was met with a shrug to the shoulders. On checking out the lady we found on the normal reception to be extremely efficient and professional. To summarize I think some of the staff would benefit a customer skills course.
very clean, staff friendly, spectacular views, great location would recommend to anyone
I liked the location which was excellent in beautiful views.
yhe freedom to drive 15 mins adnd go shopping in Inverness or go to the mountains and countryside from between 15 mins and 1 hr away it was in a great location and the overall stay was great
Friendly staff (special mention for Willie), excellent food from a varied menu, lovely rooms with gorgeous views, and all set in a great location. Perfectly situated for sightseeing in the area with the added bonus of having Loch cruises leaving directly across from the hotel. Will definitely return.
